    How can you help?

    SHRM's A-Team Needs You!

    • The SHRM NY State Council is seeking volunteers to serve as Advocacy Captains for SHRM's Advocacy Team effort.

In brief, Advocacy Captains serve as the point person for the respective congressional district in which they live. They, along with fellow HR Advocates, will be the face of the HR profession with the legislator (and their staff) who represents that district in Washington.

We are looking for volunteers who are practicing HR professionals, willing to conduct a bi-annual face-to-face meeting with their legislator, and be a leader within their community. To learn more and to sign up, check out The SHRM A-Team.
